my server lagged on port 7777
and when i change port to another port like 7778 the lag was fixed
where is the problem?
No players join or no connections join on the server and server ping is 1000 on port 7777

Hello!

I recently helped a friend with his GTA SAMP server since it got DDoSed over and over again. It's a shame so I
made sure to get him the right protection. He tried software etc but nothing was working. However,
I have used something called Reverse Proxy for a private server I was hosting for another game.

We tried it on his SAMP server, a UDP Reverse Proxy for port 7777. It's working great.
Getting a UDP Reverse Proxy doesn't take longer than 3 minutes, so you can basically make your server 100% safe
using this in only 3 minutes.

If interesting, his server hasn't gone offline ever since he fixed this.

I will use the website Menialhost.com trough this tutorial, since it's the only provider that offers this for free.
It should not exceed the rules here since the service is for free, and this doesn't force anyone to pay
or provide personal information.

Let's get into it!

Step one. Order a UDP Reverse Proxy https://menialhost.com/service-page.php, fill in your IP and Port for your SAMP server

Step two. Go to your service-page and take the UDP Reverse Proxy IP. In this case "protection.menialhost.com:31046".

You can now connect to your SAMP server using that IP, just make sure to hide your original IP.
The silly "hackers" will now try to DDoS the Proxy IP which is almost impossible to take offline.

No configuration SHOULD be needed, it wasn't needed for my friend atleast.

Hi, I am almost done with creating a web anticheat for samp using java.
Concept behind it is,
It checks the files in your GTA folder and confirms if your GTA directory is clean or not.
Any file other than gta sanandreas and samp client will be treated as culprit file.

There are too many hacks coming up. And this aimbot is messing around with TDM servers.
I need some info to finish my development.

Are there any available cheats which can be used without installing to GTA directory and how stable are they.

I am just wishing sa-mp to be hack free.

It might be a common proble, aint sure.
I have a server hosted on my computer, mysql database was running well, no problem, cars, houses and businesses, all are loaded currectly, when I moved to a hosted server, I did everything correct, although cars are not appearing, I was looking on the logs, nothing is wrong, same plugin is used, I don't know the problem, the database was working on my home server, on a hosted server it aint working.

Any solutions?

Alright, so here is a problem for me, whenever i try to compile a script, the compiler loads up SA-MP trying to connect to an ip of ":7777".It shows the message of 'Failed to compile script' on the compiler.
I will be really grateful if a kind angle can help.

EDIT: I tried un-installing the SA-MP...now it loads up the flippin' singleplayer game.

SOLUTION: Just remove the SA-MP shortcut from the desktop.

i'm having trouble with my A Record.

i've set my subdomain's (server.sf-roleplay.tk) A Record to 212.47.230.89 which is my server IP, this will turn my server ip into "server.sf-roleplay.tk". it was working, but after a week, it stopped working. it doesn't connect or show the hostname on my samp server list, I tried using the ip "212.47.230.89", from there, it works.

But if i type in "server.sf-roleplay.tk" into my browser, it sends me to the panel of my server provider.

i recently got myself an "sf-roleplay.net" domain, and also changed the A Record to "212.47.230.89", but still no luck. Is it SA-MP's fault or am i doing something wrong?
